Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal products for machinery and equipment. Your duties will include performing welding, brazing, and cutting using both gas and electrical welding equipment. You will clean and prepare surfaces to be welded, set up and assemble parts, and tack welds parts. Additionally, you will build up worn and/or defective surfaces, read and interpret blueprints, and inspect incoming equipment to determine maintenance requirements. Your work will involve determining operation sequences and methods where specifications are not available, aligning and fitting accurately, and using tools like torches or oxygen lances to dismantle, assemble, and cut materials to size and shape. You will often work independently, following technical drawings and written directions with general instructions on new assignments.

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Kentucky.

Work Environment

The position is based in a heavy industrial work environment of a large fabrication shop, approximately 200,000-300,000 square feet. The facility is fairly clean but not climate-controlled.
