Job Title: Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to safely perform trenching and laboring tasks, as well as learn to operate equipment as needed. This role requires a team player who can make smart, quick decisions that protect the interests of others and the financial stability of each project. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing work in a timely manner, ensuring the proper care of all equipment, and maintaining excellent customer relations.
Hard Skills
Knowledge of grade staking
Operation of laser equipment
Understanding soil classifications
Ability to put mainline and service pipe in the ground
Safety in digging around utilities
Must have 3 years minimum recent experience in utility work
Possess a valid CO driver’s license

Ability to prioritize workload
Flexible and efficient time management

Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Calhan, Colorado.
Work Environment
This position is outdoors and requires working in various weather conditions. Physical demands include regularly sitting and talking or hearing, frequently using hands to finger, handle, or feel and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the role requires lifting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing or balancing, and moving up to 50 to 100 pounds. The job demands specific vision abilities including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
