Aerotek Shop Laborer in Frankfort, Illinois

Job Title: Shop Laborer

Job Description

  • Cleaning the welds on parts using a small weld cleaning unit

  • Would help in deburring parts coming off the the machines

  • Will be lifting up to 50lbs frequently

  • Utilize hand held grinders to grind, polish, and debur finish parts

  • Will learn to read and interpret basic blueprints if necessary - very basic

  • Stacking and sorting parts on carts and pallets

1st shift

7:00am-3:30pm + overtime

Needs to be open to working 55 hrs a week during busy season

$18-20/hr to start

Hard Skills

  • Deburring/Grinding experience

  • Performing Shop Labor Duties

  • Cleaning parts

Work Environment

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

The work environment is a very clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit facility. You will be working on the production floor alongside approximately 15 other employees, and although you will be the only person in this specific department, you will be within close proximity to your colleagues.
