Aerotek Machine Operator in Franklin Park, Illinois
MACHINE OPERATOR
$19-$20/hr | Franklin Park, IL
3rd shift (11pm-7am)
Monday-Friday, Saturday's as needed
Aerotek is hiring experienced machine operators for a construction material company. Candidates will be operating the machine, troubleshooting and preparing product for shipment. Opportunity to be certified on a forklift, room for internal growth and advancement, and overtime availability.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for equipment set up and upkeep of saws and associated equipment
Operate and troubleshoot dust collection and stacking station
Performing quality inspections
Loading and unloading material into machines
Make machine adjustments as needed
Training on a sit-down forklift
Qualifications:
6+ months machine operating experience
Forklift experience (preferably sit down)
Have utilized a tape measure in the past (strong measurement skills)
High School Diploma/GED required
Work Environment:
Must be willing to work in a dusty manufacturing environment.
Must be comfortable wearing PPE due to working with fiberglass/insulation products.
Must be comfortable lifting 50lbs consistently/as needed.
