Aerotek Quality Audit Inspector in Franklin Park, Illinois

Description:

This position is responsible for manual inspecting all incoming parts of purchased and outsourced materials to ensure accuracy against purchase orders and to specifications. Interfaces and communicates with the vendor on products, specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities include

Develop and maintain audit and testing programs to comply with vendor quality per customer requirements

Conduct visual inspection, measurement tests and reject any unusable materials

Develop and implement quality systems

Document inspections through logs and reports to be shared among team(s)

Assist in the preparation of written reports for all levels of management, detailing audit findings, conclusions, and agreed-upon corrective actions.

Assist in identifying and evaluating the organization’s risk areas and provide input to the development of the Audit Plan

Job Requirements

At least 3 years’ experience in a quality control or quality assurance role

Basic math skills, attention to detail and blueprint reading

Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Applications (Access, Excel, Word, Access)
