Job Title: Helper
Job Description
We are looking for dedicated candidates to fill the role of a Manufacturing Helper. In this role, you will be working in a pre-fabrication shop using a band saw to cut material down to the necessary length for welders. Also, the ability to read a tape measure is essential. The work schedule is from 6:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday.
Hard Skills
Use of band saw, drills, and tape measures
Ability to read tape measure
Preparing construction materials (measuring, cutting, shaping).
Assisting in constructing and repairing structures (walls, roofs, floors) based on blueprints.
Maintaining work areas by cleaning and removing debris.
Operating power tools (saws, hammers, levels) while following safety guidelines.
Inspecting and maintaining tools and equipment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior carpentry experience is an asset but not required (training provided).
Essential skills:Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Good communication skills and ability to take direction.
Physical strength and attention to detail.
Willing to work Overtime
