Aerotek Diesel Mechanic in Freeport, Texas
Join our dynamic team as a Level II Diesel Mechanic, where you will have the opportunity to work on freight liners primarily equipped with Detroit engines. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, repairs on regeneration systems, clutch replacement, brake repairs, wheel seal repairs, turbo replacements, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks. You will also handle oil changes, hose changes, belts changes, and minor repairs. While you won't be doing complete overhauls, you will need to troubleshoot engines and components to determine necessary maintenance. Additionally, you will utilize a computer system to order parts and quote jobs.

Work Environment
