Description:

The Machine Operators will report to the Bottling Line Supervisor.

Acting on own initiative and under minimal direction of the Supervisor, the Line Technician is responsible for performing all bottling lines' tasks in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.

Job Duties: * General Machine Operators duties; working the glass dump station; casing station; and case stacking for the glass lines. They will hand pack and hand stack products. * May perform interim/temporary line lead responsibilities. * Assist with miscellaneous sanitation or rework tasks for all the bottling lines. * Diligently follows safety, GMP, and ISO procedures and policies to safeguard personal and team member's safety, wine quality and company property * Operates all bottling line equipment. This includes: fillers, corkers, conveyors, air machine, spinners, labelers, case sealers, cappers, case dumping equipment, carton former, case former, case sealer, tape machine, palletizer, case packer, depalletizer, partition inserter, and stretch wrapper * Assists in training less experience employees as requested by Team Lead or Team Supervisor * Assists Maintenance Mechanic, QC and Finished Wine Techs, with line set up, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting * Performs basic line Change-over, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot line malfunctions and effect minor repairs * Performs line setups, startups and changeovers with or without maintenance participation, assisted by that line's Lead, Skilled and General Technicians (DDC/Packware operations)
