Job Title: Automation Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Automation Technician for our 4th shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday 7a-7p).

Job Description

-Maintenance and support of product specific automated work cells to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.

-Responding to downtime situations to get the machine back up and running.

-Performing preventative maintenance on all automated work cells.

-Documenting performed maintenance, and evaluating potential future maintenance needs/issues.

-Perform process verification procedures on automated work cells.

-Follow the process deviation procedure when changing parameters.

Skills

-Maintenance and Repair

-Automation

-Hydraulic Repair

-Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC Controllers and Siemens Controller

-Troubleshooting and repairing mechanically

-Experience with staubli or fanuc robotics

-Ability to edit, troubleshoot and do crash recovery

-Documentation Skills

-Adaptability

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan.

Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced production manufacturing environment in the vibrations industry. There may be occasions where tasks need to be performed in an environment requiring personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
