Aerotek Warehouse Worker in Grande Prairie, Alberta
Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
Start your day with a toolbox meeting to discuss daily objectives and safety precautions. You will primarily engage in order picking by hand or palletizing orders. Once trained, operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift. Assist the receiving team three times a week when new products arrive. You'll manage lifting up to 50lbs and use the SAP computer system for data entry. Effective communication with team members and internal clients about inventory and timelines is crucial.
Hard Skills
Experience in industrial products or oil and gas industry warehouse (1+ years minimum)
Able to lift 50lbs
Basic computer knowledge (email and WMS)
TDG/WHMIS training, OH&S and MSDS familiarity
Drivers license with clean abstract
1-2 years’ forklift experience (gas/electric powered)

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with occasional overtime and the odd Saturday as needed. Two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch are provided daily. The primary work location is in Grande Prairie, with potential travel to Rainbow Lake and other locations for vacation coverage, including provided or expensed accommodation and meals. A company vehicle is provided for travel.
