Job Title: Group Leader/Supervisor

Job Description

Seeking a committed Group Leader/Supervisor to manage 5-10 operators and ensure the seamless operation of our production department. This role requires being on the production floor full-time, directing and coordinating activities involved in processing materials and product manufacturing. Responsibilities include planning production operations, preparing operational schedules, maintaining product quality standards, and resolving operational issues. The role also involves inspecting machines and equipment to guarantee optimal performance and utilization, developing or revising standard operational practices, and supervising and coordinating employee activities such as training, work assignment, performance appraisal, and problem resolution.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Greenfield, Indiana.

Work Environment

This full-time, permanent position is based in Greenfield, Indiana. The role operates on the first shift (6:30am-3pm), currently extending to 10-hour days and including work every other Saturday. The facility, established in 2012, manufactures automotive components, particularly transmission parts using CNC lathes and CNC mills. Candidates must be prepared to work 10-15 hours of overtime weekly and every other Saturday.
