Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Hagerstown, Indiana

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking mechanically skilled individuals with basic electrical knowledge to join our maintenance team immediately. As a Maintenance Technician, your main role will be to ensure our facility operates smoothly by swiftly addressing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

You will spend about 95% of your time resolving urgent problems to keep production lines running efficiently. This includes working with robotic welders, tube benders, and other machinery, performing basic electrical troubleshooting, and replacing components like motors and rollers. Candidates must be able to read and make slight modifications to Ladder Logic.

Responsibilities

  • Address mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems within the facility.

  • Work with robotic welders, tube benders, and other machinery.

  • Perform simple troubleshooting of electrical cabinets using a volt meter.

  • Replace components such as motors, rollers, chain conveyors, photo eyes, and proxy switches.

  • Read Ladder Logic and make slight modifications.

Essential Skills

  • Industrial Maintenance Experience (1+ years) OR Military Maintenance Experience

  • Hydraulic experience

  • Pneumatic experience

  • Basic Electrical troubleshooting (up to 24 Volts)

  • Ability to read a meter

  • PLC Troubleshooting (preferred)

  • Just in time delivery experience in an automotive environment (preferred)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Urgency in task execution

  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends

  • Ability to read and light modifications with Ladder Logic

  • Experience with Allen-Bradley systems

The pay range for this position is $22.88 - $30.00
