Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will operate various machines, adjusting feed rates, cutting speeds, stops, and guides. You will monitor and inspect the output to ensure quality standards are met and perform routine preventative maintenance. Your responsibilities will also include operating overhead cranes, conveyors, forklifts, and maintaining written and computer records. You will be trained to assist in various areas of the plant, including running machines, performing maintenance routines, making crates, and inspecting products. This role requires flexibility as you will not be performing the same task all day. The shift typically runs from 6 AM - 2:30 PM, but currently extends to 4:30 PM with mandatory overtime paid after 40 hours. The starting rate is $23.86/hr.

2+ years of machine operating experience
manufacturing
Ability to use basic hand tools
tape measure/measurements (metrics)
basic computer and literacy skills
Work Environment
The facility produces insulated metal panels for large commercial buildings. It maintains a lean and clean environment. Safety is a top priority, and the machinery is fairly new. Each production line is operated by about 1-3 people, and the lines are approximately 20 feet long.
