Job Title: Paint Supervisor

Job Description

The Paint Supervisor is responsible for planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and directing the work of the paint team. This role involves managing workloads and leading the paint team to ensure all projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Key responsibilities include reviewing technical specifications, planning and coordinating project schedules, recording weather conditions, preparing quality documents, overseeing daily inspections, maintaining equipment, managing paint supply inventory, and ensuring proper waste disposal. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Hard Skills

  • 5 years experience in a heavy industrial environment

  • 2 years of supervisory experience

  • Experience with project scheduling

  • Ability to maintain paint supply inventory

  • Proficiency in preparing project quality documents

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Leadership and supervisory skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hamilton, Ontario.

Work Environment

Outdoor, subjected to very cold or hot temperatures at times, confined spaces, tight tunnels, and a busy, hectic, and fast-paced environment. The position involves working through inclement weather with minimal training. The role requires working 45 hours per week with additional overtime as needed, including extended shifts and weekends. Tasks include working in confined spaces, at heights, and in awkward positions for extended periods.
