Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

Seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team, focusing on welding galvanized steel products. Responsibilities include MIG welding using .035 wire on mostly vertical welds, with some flat and horizontal welds, on 12 or 18 gauge steel. You will primarily work on sheet metal boxes and other custom projects. Candidates may also insulate ducts as needed. Ability to read blueprints is essential. Must be able to weld from knees for larger units. The role requires owning steel toe boots, a welding hood, and personal tools. Optional use of a respirator welding hood is available, with fitting required.

Work Environment

This position is based in a shop environment which is not climate-controlled; exposure to heat, cold, and fumes is expected. The standard shift is 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with some opportunities for overtime.
