Aerotek Woodshop Lead in Hartford, Connecticut
Aerotek's client, a custom woodworking company in Hartford, is seeking an in-shop carpenter/woodworker to complete high-end projects for clients. They receive custom orders from local commercial clients and have steady orders throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
-Construct curved walls, tables, cabinets and desks
-Construct custom tables, hardware and countertops
-Construct reception desks, coffee/mail rooms
-Utilize hand/power tools
-Read and interpret blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of carpentry experience (finish work, cabinets or other appliances)
Read and interpret blueprints
Work alongside a small team, communicating the process and educating the helpers
Comfortable with hand and power tools
