Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Material Handler facilitates the receipt, verification, computer transaction, and physical movement of all inventory and non-inventory items within the system work area at the customer site. Key responsibilities include physical material movement between Cleanroom Lay Down Area and System Work Area, conducting weekly cycle counts of inventory, logging materials moved in/out, expediting urgent materials, coordinating with Engineers for item availability, and ensuring proper preparation of materials for returns. This role also involves interfacing with SAP Coordinators and performing various organizational duties within the System Work Area.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to perform physical material handling

  • Proficiency in logging and tracking inventory via computer systems

  • Experience in using SAP or similar systems

  • Capability to read and interpret data and documents

Soft Skills

  • Good observational skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with others

  • Capacity to learn and apply new skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Work Environment

This position involves physical activities including sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and using hands for various tasks. The role requires adherence to gowning requirements in a cleanroom environment, occasional movement around the campus, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work conditions are moderate in temperature and noise level, with periodic travel to regional and overseas sites for support projects. Technical activities may be required in a clean-room production environment or laboratory setting.
