Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing a variety of automotive, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical petroleum equipment. This role involves handling service repair work including pumps, tanks, monitors, gauges, and meter readouts related to the petroleum industry. Key responsibilities include performing repairs and preventive maintenance of fueling systems, managing parts inventory on a service van, analyzing electronic and mechanical problems to provide necessary repairs, installing, programming, and testing new equipment, and effectively communicating with customers to explain technical issues.

Work Environment

This position provides a company service van, which the technician can take home, and involves managing an assigned territory. The role may require handling petroleum fuels and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally. Work hours vary, including potential 60-70 hour weeks and on-call duties every seven weeks after the first year. The environment is dynamic and team-oriented, suitable for individuals comfortable in a family-owned company atmosphere where getting along with fellow technicians is crucial.

Pay: $19-21/hr to start but could make up to $25-28/hr within 2 years!

Shift: 1st shift 7am start time.
