Aerotek Kit Assembler in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Description

Join our team as a Kit Assembler, contributing to the Automated KIT Production department. This role involves building kits for clinical trials research, sample collection, medical testing, and other human sample collection processes. You will stand in a designated cell, follow computer-screen instructions and a visual bin-light system to select and package components into boxes. These will then be labeled and sent to shipping. The position requires standing for extended periods, though not every day, and involves a rotation between different roles every three hours to ensure variety and comprehensive training across the department.

  • Knowledge of kit design and box size codes

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

This role operates in a clean, organized, and temperature-controlled production area with a constant hum. Shifts are 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am with a rotating 2/2/3 schedule , including two paid 20-minute breaks and a 30-minute paid lunch. The environment is structured for both standing and sitting tasks, with accommodations for temperature and long-hour shifts. No phones or unsealed drinks are allowed on the floor.
