Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operator to join our team and contribute to maintaining our high industry standards by producing quality products. The successful candidate will handle tasks from receiving raw materials to packaging finished goods. This role involves blending high volume cellulose powder, monitoring manufacturing processes, cleaning process equipment, and ensuring all documentation complies with cGMP standards. Adherence to safety and quality protocols is a must. The role also includes equipment maintenance and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with mills, blenders, shakers, PLC’s, water systems, pumps, extruders/dispersers, forklifts and hand trucks

  • Ability to monitor equipment and instrumentation

  • Knowledge of cGMP documentation compliance

  • Experience in machine operation

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work with minimal guidance

  • Commitment to safety and quality

  • Teamwork and collaboration

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

The candidate will work in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment operating on a 2-2-3 schedule. Interaction primarily involves a team of 4 under the supervision of a shift supervisor. The culture emphasizes a strong work-first mentality while also supporting team interaction. Safety equipment and protocols are rigorously followed.
