Aerotek Welder/Fabricator in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Job Description:

  • The Welder/Fabricator will split their time evenly between the shop and field, handling tasks related to welding and fabricating steel (Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel) according to drawings and specifications.

  • In the shop, the focus will be on Mig and Tig welding, while fieldwork will primarily involve stick welding.

  • The role alsoincludes maintaining a clean and safe work environment and communicating effectively with supervisors and project leads.

  • Must have Welding experience with all metal types(Stainless,Carbon, Galvanized, Sheet, Aluminum, etc.)

  • Family oriented small business that has been in business 10+ years.

Hours:

  • M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm

  • This is a standard 40 hour work week. Saturday work may be a possibility in the event that they need to get ahead on projects. Currently they are working 50 hours per week due to how busy they are.

Work Environment:

  • The work environmentinvolves splitting time equally between field projects and a metal fabrication shop.

  • The setting can be noisy, dirty, and may involve working alongside other subcontractors.

  • Weather elements might affect outdoor work, although most tasks are performed indoors under controlled, yet sometimes extreme temperature conditions.
