Job Title: Medical Device Assembler - 1st Shift
Job Description
This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices, primarily in a clean room environment.
The role includes the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, and the operation of various equipment and machinery to produce medical devices.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.
Follow manufacturing instructions and update relevant job documentation accurately for traceability.
Prepare products for packing and sterilization.
Inspect products using a microscope.
Ensure activities comply with GMPs.
Set up coating machines, coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters.
Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations.
Test formulations and package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
Identify supplies that need to be replenished.
Build components needed for top-level work orders.
Complete cleaning activities as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
High School diploma or equivalent education.
2 to 3 years of experience in the medical device industry.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
Proficiency in English.
Experience with microscope inspection.
Familiarity with cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning processes.
Good hand/eye dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer software packages.
Ability to communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to supervisors and management.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Work primarily in a cleanroom environment, involving standing for extended periods.
Be prepared to follow cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning processes.
The position may require working overtime and weekends due to high demand.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
