Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Jackson, Tennessee
Aerotek is hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians
Job Description
Support the manufacturing areas with a focus on minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and maintaining the overall production system as well as company policies/procedures.
Responsibilities include supporting maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
This role involves performing predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
The technician will perform general building maintenance, oversee machines in various production areas, manage machine uptime/downtime, support continuous improvement activities, and perform other duties as assigned.
Technical Skills
Hydraulic equipment maintenance
PLC knowledge
Reading industrial electrical schematics
Understanding of servo motion
Assembly of complex equipment
Preventative maintenance
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Jackson, Tennessee.
Work Environment
Second shift hours are Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Third shift hours are Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Shifts may require early arrivals or late stays for overtime or weekend work, typically with advance notice.
Uniforms provided include steel toe shoes, long sleeve shirts, long pants, and optional ball caps.
Hearing protection and safety glasses must be worn at all times on the plant floor.
The environment is a temperature-controlled manufacturing facility
