Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will operate in the shipping department, handling tasks such as utilizing RF scanners and SAP for inventory checks and cycle counts. Your responsibilities will include following work orders, picking and pulling products, and ensuring products like nails and screws are packaged correctly according to work orders before shipment. You will be instrumental in the physical handling of products, which can weigh up to 70 lbs, and will use equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks. Interaction with customers may occur occasionally. Expect to contribute to the dispatch of 6-8 trucks daily.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jacksonville, Florida.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment is not climate-controlled, but fans are available for cooling. The facility spans 140,000 sq feet and houses 20 current employees. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with mandatory Saturdays when busy (typically 6 AM to 12 PM). Night shifts run from 5 PM to 3:30 AM. Efforts are being made to eliminate weekend work, leading to these new hiring opportunities.
