Description:

Looking for Marine Painters who are skilled in the craft of covering various vessel surfaces, both interior and exterior, with protective coatings using brushes, spray guns, and rollers.

Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel or lacquer, as appropriate, to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings and fixtures of boats.

Someone with a hobby involving this/desire to learn will be very successful here.

Marine, Painting, Electrical, Shipyard, Industrial, Industrial painting, Troubleshooting, Paint prep, Spray gun, Paint application, Blueprint, Sanding, Schematic

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of Painting experience with automotives/ ship.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Technical school training preferred

Basic math skills required; advanced math skills preferred

Experience reading, understanding and following construction drawings and procedures preferred

Ability to ascend and descend a ladder

Must carry own tools

Ability to work in confined spaces

Ability to lift 50 pounds
