Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
Join our dynamic metal manufacturing team, primarily serving the automotive industry with a strategic expansion towards Government and Military sectors. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will operate and adjust CNC Mills, including Haas and Mazak, to perform a variety of operations such as drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, turning, and boring. Your role is crucial in ensuring that parts meet precise specifications, as you will follow proven programs and setups provided by others. Additionally, you will inspect products using various gauges, manage data entry, and handle materials weighing up to 5lbs.
Hard Skills
6 months of Machine operating experience
Ability to operate CNC Mills (Haas, Mazak)
Proficiency in using inspection tools like micrometers, bore gauges, and thread gauges

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
This role operates in a very large, 400,000 sq.ft facility that is loud and has a rugged setting. We maintain a safe work environment; however, due to the nature of the work, the facility can be dirty. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots, jeans, and t-shirts without rips or holes. Shifts available are 1st (6am-2pm), 2nd (2pm-10pm), and 3rd (10pm-6am) from Sunday to Thursday with every other Saturday required.
