Hospital Housekeeper

Job Description

The individual will be responsible for cleaning hospital rooms, primarily focusing on rooms after patient discharges to ensure sanitization and readiness for new patients. Responsibilities include wiping down equipment, emptying trash, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and attending to spills. The role involves significant walking and managing tasks across multiple floors with attention to detail. Employees will use iPhones issued by the hospital to receive assignments and access cleaning tutorials.

Work Environment

This position is in a very fast-paced environment at a #1 trauma center, involving exposure to sensitive situations. The role requires working a rotating schedule, including every other weekend and major holidays. Initial onboarding may include delays in badge issuance, requiring patience and adaptability.
