Aerotek Laser Operator in Kansas City, Kansas

Laser Operator - (1st and 2nd shift)

Pay Rate: $20 - $24/hr.

Description:

A steel manufacturing and fabrication facility is looking to hire laser operators for their 2nd shift.

Job duties:

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of machines to perform diversified operations on varying material. Usually, close tolerance work requiring a high degree of skill. Machine types include Laser tables.

• Select speeds and feeds, determine operational sequences and tooling arrangements

• Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions

• Set up machines for operation by others

• Prepares orders by processing requests and work orders; pulling materials; packaging and staging orders for delivery

• Maintains quality service by following organization standards

• Maintain safe, orderly and clean work environment

• Completes work orders by entering required information
