Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Engineer, where you will be pivotal in maintaining all production equipment and plant facilities to ensure maximum productivity. Your role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on various production machinery. You will also be responsible for the installation, startup, and shutdown of equipment, coordinating with equipment vendors, conducting daily inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and managing hazardous waste. Additionally, you will communicate with production personnel about equipment issues and participate in required training to uphold safety and quality standards.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Kansas.

Work Environment

Work in a fairly large facility that is not climate-controlled and has a strong odor due to inks and solvents. The role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting. Candidates must be capable of using hand tools and standing for the duration of an 8+ hour shift. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly. Overtime may be required, and the shift pattern is 12 hours from 7pm to 7am, working every other weekend with a team of 10 technicians.
