Job Title: Welder
Job Description
As a Welder, your primary duty will be assembling and welding aluminum and stainless steel trailers and/or sub-assemblies. You will be expected to lay out and position parts according to given specifications and weld in various positions such as flat, horizontal, overhead, and vertical. Your role also includes interpreting blueprints and MIG on aluminum. Be prepared to work at heights up to 15ft and possibly in confined spaces, such as inside tanks.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 480 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position near KENT, Ohio.
Work Environment
The work schedule is 1st shift from Monday to Thursday (10-hour shifts) and Friday (5-hour shift) totaling 45 hours weekly. Shift timings can be chosen between 6a - 4p OR 5a - 3p, with no flip-flopping of start times except on Fridays for overtime. The compensation is $21-$23/hr. There is an opportunity to earn a $3 increase in the first year based on attendance and performance. Evaluations at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year can lead up to a $1 raise at each evaluation. Additional raises and bonuses for perfect attendance and production up to $500/month can be granted upon being hired permanently. The workplace is a very clean environment with 120 employees on the manufacturing floor.
