Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler on the 1st shift (7a-3:30p, M-F) with potential for voluntary overtime (50-60 hours while on contract, 60-70 hours once permanent). This role involves assembling large AC units in a newly established manufacturing plant which opened in June 2023. You will perform repetitive assembly work across seven different stations, remaining on your feet for much of the day. Tasks include using hand and power tools to assemble components, adhering to safety protocols, and undergoing comprehensive safety training. Additional responsibilities may include brazing, soldering, operating machinery, and conducting quality checks once fully trained.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kentwood, Michigan.

Work Environment

You will work in a temperature-controlled, very clean environment. All stations are well-organized with all necessary tools for assembly tasks. Testing stations are still being finalized due to the newness of the facility. Expect collaboration with team members and guidance from a lead technician during your initial weeks.
