Job Title: Aircraft Technician

Job Description

The Aircraft Technician is responsible for accurately repairing and performing scheduled maintenance on all designated aircraft, including Cessna Citation Jets and some Gulfstream Aircraft. This role involves performing inspections as required by the FAA, including RII items and 100-hour inspections. The technician will manage projects, estimate work time and materials, fully analyze blueprints, drawings, work orders, and sketches to troubleshoot, repair, and install parts or products. Additionally, the role requires ensuring the mechanical systems' proper working condition before flight, developing maintenance records, and collaborating with other personnel to repair engines and non-instrumental parts.

Hard Skills

  • A&P license

  • Experience with Cessna Citation or Gulfstream aircraft, or other corporate aircrafts.

  • Proficiency in reading and analyzing blueprints, drawings, and maintenance manuals

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kinston, North Carolina.

Work Environment

Work at a small airport with multiple office buildings and maintenance hangars, some of which are brand new. Shifts range from 8-10 hours, with options for 4/10's schedules either from 5 AM - 3:30 PM or 5 PM - 3:30 AM.
