Aerotek Maintenance Technician in LAKE IN THE HILLS, Illinois

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are in search of a diligent Maintenance Technician to undertake industrial and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery including spot welders, dot belt machines, mold presses, and coating towers/ovens. The role involves assembling and repairing equipment, resolving issues, enhancing current processes, and troubleshooting problems. The ability to read shop drawings and troubleshoot machinery is essential. The successful candidate will conduct minor electrical repairs. Major electrical repairs are handled by our day shift Electrician. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in assembling equipment, building machinery, and improving existing equipment and processes.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in LAKE IN THE HILLS, Illinois.

Work Environment

The successful applicant will be working either 1st Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm or 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm. Overtime is not common but occasional Saturdays may be required for preventative maintenance on machinery during downtime. The maintenance team currently consists of four people on the first shift. You will be working on various press machines and 'Towers', all of which are custom-built in-house.
