Job Title: Driver Assistant

Job Description

Join our team as a Driver Assistant, where you will act as the face of our company during deliveries. This role requires professionalism in conduct and demeanor, safe and responsible driving, and a clean driving record. Your main responsibilities will include loading cabinets onto company trucks, driving to various delivery locations, typically home construction sites, and coordinating the unloading of items with the site supervisor or using a blueprint for guidance. You will also verify the delivery of correct items to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Hard Skills

• Ability to drive 26’ trucks with automatic transmission

Work Environment

The work environment is a woodworking facility with exposure to sawdust and the smell of wood and stain. It is generally clean. Working hours are currently from 6 AM to 4:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, and 6 AM to 3 PM on Friday, totaling 45-50 hours a week. If business slows, hours may adjust to 5 9-hour shifts. The schedule includes a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
