Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The role involves completing daily work order lists, conducting plant inspections, and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing plant equipment. You will work on gear boxes, drivers, conveyors, motors, and packaging equipment, as well as maintaining boilers and refrigeration systems. A general understanding of electrical systems, ability to read blueprints, and welding skills are essential.

Hard Skills

  • Repair and troubleshooting of gear boxes, conveyors, and motors

  • Diagnose and repair packaging equipment

  • Preventative maintenance skills

  • Ability to read blueprints and P & ID loops

  • Electrical skills including troubleshooting and wiring

  • Understanding of boiler maintenance and refrigeration systems (Freon and Ammonia)

  • Welding and fabrication
