Aerotek Production Supervisor in Lansing, Michigan
Description:
Production Supervisors: As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising a group of employees to develop business processes manage production operations and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.
Typical day in the role
45 minutes before the shift, the Supervisor will check the headcount and the current needs. Go over feedback from the previous shift. The expectation is for the Supervisor to run their line. They will work with the leader and salaried employees to resolve any discrepancies. Responsible for providing feedback on the quality of the vehicles, safety of members and challenges that come up. End of shift will recap the day and challenges for the next shift. Want to make sure the quality is good for the

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• High School Diploma. Degree is preferred. Nothing in particular.

• Interpersonal skills- must be able to communicate effectively with both hourly and salary employees (we work in a Union environment, so it is very important)
• Problem solving- must be able to effectively problem solve collaboratively.
• Accountability- must be comfortable addressing employees and holding them accountable when warranted.
