Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mill Machinist/Programmer to join our team in Lenexa. The successful candidate will set up, maintain, and assist in operating CNC Milling Machines. This role involves directly aiding programmers and monitoring the quality of parts manufactured, ensuring production deadlines are met without compromising on quality. The role requires the ability to develop project documentation and machine code, troubleshoot programming and machining issues, maintain tool inventory, and ensure organizational standards are upheld.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in LENEXA, Kansas.

Work Environment

The position is based in a climate-controlled facility that specializes in producing hydraulic manifolds. It features a small to medium-sized machine shop environment. The work schedule includes various day shift options, with a typical start time at 7am or 8am, for an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday. The team consists of 5-7 people, including Operators, Machinists, and a Lead. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans/shorts and T-shirts, with steel-toed shoes required. The culture is laid-back, with supervisors who expect self-management and adherence to deadlines without micro-management.
