Aerotek Machine Operator in Lincoln, Nebraska

Job Description:

Candidates will be assisting in the production duties, which creates large fiberglass tubes. Candidates will get to work for a global manufacturer of motors, bearings, gearing, conveying, blowers, electric components, and couplings.

Job Duties:

Candidates will be doing a variety of the below duties, depending upon which area they are working that day:

Sets up and operates a machine in order to shape composites.

Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.

Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Skills:

tape measure, machine set up, saw operation, blueprint, power tool, Hand tool, Inspection, Machine operating, grinding, saw cut

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to read a tape measure down to 32nd

Ability to stand 8+ hours/day

Ability to convert fractions to decimal (or learn how)

6+ months machine operator experience
