Job Title: Electrician
Job Description
As an Electrician, your main responsibilities will include installing, examining, replacing or repairing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and other electrical components. You'll complete preventative maintenance on equipment, keep maintenance records to identify weaknesses in design, and participate in ensuring all Key Performance Indicators (Safety, Quality, and Productivity) are met. Your role will also involve cross-functional repairs to equipment that includes Electrical, Mechanical, and Tooling, troubleshooting safety devices, and maintaining and repairing industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in London, Ontario.
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing environment where copper is melted, poured, and formed in the plant. You should be comfortable with large overhead cranes moving regularly overhead and be prepared for high temperatures in the summer. Personal air conditioners are provided at most stations. The culture is hardworking, with a mix of long-term employees and a new class of employees seeking full-time roles. Steel-toed boots are required, and uniforms are provided. Pay is $38.91/hr on the day shift with a $1.00/hr premium on afternoon and night shifts. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week. The role involves a 3-shift rotation, every 2 weeks: Midnight shift hours- 12am- 8 am, Afternoon shift hours 4pm- 12am, and Day shift hours 8am-4pm.
