Aerotek Manual Machinist in Longview, Texas

Description:

We are a leading global engineering, manufacturing and servicing company for heavy industrial power and control systems such as heavy duty AC/DC motors, drives, controls, switchgears, and generators. Industries for these products include oil/gas, mining/mills, energy/utilities, marine.

Job Duties:

  • Perform basic lathe/milling operations by utilizing medium size machines including manual lathes/mills.

  • Inspect basic/routine parts for defects and wear.

  • Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, broaching, and conventional milling and lathe work

Shift and Pay:

  • 1st shift: 6:30AM-3:00PM (Monday-Friday- Occasional weekends required)

  • 2nd shift: 3:00PM-11:00PM (Monday-Friday-Occasional weekends required)

  • You will train the first month on first shift then you will move to 2nd shift

  • $23-$26/hr

  • OT during ramp projects

Position Requirements:

  • 3 years manual machinist experience

  • Mill and Lathe experience required

  • MUST HAVE STEEL TOES

  • Have your own tools
