Aerotek Fabricator in Louisville, Kentucky

This position is for an expanding manufacturing facility that consist of MIG welding and fabrication in a sheet metal environment. Traditional work hours will be Monday through Friday; 6am to 2:30pm.
Job Details:
• Weld steel parts as specified by layout, diagram, work order or verbal instructions.
• Perform spot welding when needed.
• Set-up jigs read tape measure and steel gauges.
• Perform minor maintenance on machines and guns.
• Operate abrasive saw, hand grinder, and other small hand tools.
• Perform visual quality inspections of parts and address issues/areas of improvement
• Required to wear personal protection equipment and follow safety procedures
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to visually read prints, work orders, production schedules, tape measures and gauges, inspect tools and machinery, and parts.

Qualifications:
• Required: 2-3 years of fitting and fabrication experience
• Required: 2-3 years of MIG welding experience
• Required: Blueprint Reading
• Desired: Active certification in Welding or secondary education
