Job Title: HVAC Installer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to inspect the effectiveness and safety of current customer HVAC systems, install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. The role also involves diagnosing HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects, cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. The ideal candidate will maintain a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources, ensuring compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Additionally, you will participate in all technical training and comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect the effectiveness and safety of current customer HVAC systems.

  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

  • Diagnose HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects.

  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.

  • Maintain a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources.

  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

  • Participate in all technical training.

  • Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.

  • Work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Vocational training or apprenticeship in an HVAC program.

  • Current HVAC technician license.

  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and boiler systems.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces.

  • Reliable and self-motivated.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00
