Hiring for Batch Mixer paying up to $26/hour in McCook,IL.
Job Description:
Seeking a diligent and mechanically inclined Chemical Batch Mixer to handle and monitor a variety of chemicals.
Ensuring precise concoction and transfer of specialty products.
The role involves recording detailed information such as ingredients, weights, and temperatures, operating forklifts, and transferring fluids through hoses.
The position requires working with reactors, tankers, and storage outdoors, as well as cleaning equipment and documenting processes.
Candidates must be adaptable to changing tasks and comfortable working in an outdoor, older facility environment that can be physically demanding.
Pay & Shift:
Pay is up to $26 an hour
Openings on day and night shift
Mon-Thurs : 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
Schedule will rotate every 2 months from days to nights.
Need to be comfortable with days and nights and OT
Skills:
2 years of experience in batch mixing, chemical operation, or blending
Proficient in fluid transfer and pump operations
Computer literate, particularly in MS Office
Experienced in forklift operation, specifically sit-down propane forklifts
Experience working with railcars and tankers.
