Job Description:
Perform Tig and Structural welding
Operating specialized hand and power tools, including arc welders, grinders, and buffing machines.
Selecting and installing torch tips, filler rods, and flux based on the thickness of metal materials.
Regulating gas flow and pressure using gas cylinder gauges or valves.
Reading and interpreting welding codes and blueprints.
Laying out, measuring, and aligning metal workpieces before welding.
Conducting tests on ducting assemblies to ensure weld quality.
Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
Training and supervising inexperienced welders.
Repairing super alloy and stainless steel components.
Performing pre-heating and post-heating of weld elements.
