Aerotek Batching Operator in Memphis, Tennessee
Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring Batching Operator to work with a local manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN with a starting pay of $20.50/hour (paid weekly) based on experience and skillset. These positions are responsible for processing food products using process equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Moving of product using hose connections from various tanks through the batching process.
Reading and interpreting the batch sheet for regulations, batching, and record keeping.
Operation of pumps and valves, performance of basic laboratory testing and data recording.
Work with and/or around hazardous chemicals (i.e. caustics, acids, ammonia) with personal protection equipment, and on-site training
Will be taught to pull samples for quality testing
Tank cleaning using a CIP system, ensuring no cross contamination of products, general cleaning with use of chemicals and pressure hoses to clean equipment
Loading and unloading of tanker trucks and completion of necessary paperwork
Computer literacy required for data entry and equipment operation
Strong math skills required for measurement conversions and inventory management
Minor preventative maintenance, checking valves, hoses, connections, and flow process Intermediate PC skills using Microsoft Office products including Excel.

Work Environment:
Working environment temperature shifts. They will have to be comfortable with working in non temp controlled (temporarily) and temp controlled environments.
Clean FDA facility
They will be moving to a 2-2-3 shift the first part of August. It will run from 6am-6pm for days and 6pm-6am for nights. Their primary focus right now is for the overnight shifts (6pm-6am).
Candidates bust be able to train on either shift.
Candidate must be willing to work overtime. They are currently working anywhere from 60-70 hours a week.
