Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in MEMPHIS, Tennessee

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Join our dynamic production team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will be pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and quality of our production line. In this role, you will handle all production maintenance including quality control, line maintenance, and machinery and equipment repairs. Your tasks will involve applying mechanical expertise to determine work methods and procedures to produce quality products. You will be diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical malfunctions on high-speed production machinery, which produces 300 - 350 cans per minute. This role requires operating the machinery to understand the equipment and learn the required maintenance and preventive measures.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in MEMPHIS, Tennessee.

Work Environment

You will initially train on the day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM for approximately 2 weeks. Regular shifts include 3rd shift hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. The work attire includes steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and appropriate work clothing.
