Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, mechanical checks, construction, installation, moving, repairing, and maintaining all electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment and/or systems. Your primary function will include industrial machine repair/service with an emphasis on electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, spindles, ball screws, bearings, servo controls, and machine controllers. You will also install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and/or systems, including CNC manufacturing equipment, compressed air systems, electrical distribution equipment, and various building systems. Additionally, you will diagnose problems, disassemble machinery, identify parts for ordering or fabricating, repair, and reassemble. Ensuring proper care and maintenance of all machinery, communicating potential solutions verbally and/or in writing to the appropriate management, providing training to new employees and/or apprentices, and rigging and moving machinery and equipment are also key responsibilities. This position is on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Pay rates will vary upon experience, $28.00 or more per hour.

Work Environment

The work environment features a large, clean, climate-controlled CNC shop. The maintenance department consists of this position only, reporting directly to the President. The company has approximately 45 employees in total.
