Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the quality and integrity of products at various stages of the production process. You will conduct receiving inspections, perform necessary transactions in internal systems, and execute in-process inspections as required. Additionally, you will perform final QA audits of products, maintain inspection files, and interpret technical prints for measuring parts. This role requires interfacing with multiple departments including Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Shipping/Receiving. Flexibility in schedule is essential, including availability for Saturdays and overtime as needed.

Hard Skills

  • Use of hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges

  • Performing transactions in internal systems

  • Interpreting technical prints

Soft Skills

  • Flexibility in schedule

  • Ability to interface with multiple departments

  • Attention to detail

Job Type

This is a contract to hire position with a contract duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wallingford, Connecticut.
