Job Title: Plant Lean Utility Aide

Job Description

  • Assist in maintaining plant cleanliness and organization by implementing LEAN principles.

  • Responsibilities include constructing shop aids, applying labels, paint, and tape for organization, interfacing with department personnel on continuous improvement efforts, cutting and assembling lightweight pipe and wood pieces, assisting in the design of fixtures and shop aides, and maintaining floor coatings.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with LEAN principles

  • Ability to construct shop aids

  • Skills in labeling, painting, and taping for organizational purposes

  • Proficiency in cutting and assembling lightweight materials

  • Experience in maintaining floor coatings

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with department personnel

  • Creative thinking in design and problem-solving

Job Type

  • This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

  • This is a fully on-site position in Milwaukie, Oregon.

Work Environment

  • The Utility Aide will work in various areas including hallways, office spaces, and the manufacturing floor. The manufacturing environment may expose employees to dust, loud noises, and fumes.
