Aerotek TIG Welder in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Looking for TIG welders comfortable with a light portion of MIG

Job Description:

  • Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine appropriate welding procedures and materials

  • Set up welding equipment, select proper welding electrodes, and adjust welding parameters to ensure a quality weld

  • Right now it's about 70/30 TIG vs. MIG for the break up of duties on a week-to-week basis.

Work Environment:

  • we make a variety of sheet metal products.

  • They will be welding everything as small as Custom computer cabinets to large custom frames for the oil industry.

Pay: $21-28hr

Shifts:

1st Shift 1st Shift 6 AM-4:30 PM Mon- Thurs & Fri 6 AM-10 AM
